Cultural
Projects

We believe that Ukrainians should integrate into German society, but this integration should not mean losing their own identity. For us, it is not about dissolving into a new environment, but about creating a living dialogue between cultures, traditions and ways of seeing the world.

- OUR FOCUS -

we place great importance on developing intercultural dialogue between Ukrainian culture, German culture and the cultural diversity that shapes Germany today.

CULTURAL BTIDGE

For this purpose, we founded the project Kulturelle Brücken. Through our events, we build these bridges between people, communities and cultures, creating space for connection, understanding and respect.

We organize concerts featuring Ukrainian artists from a wide range of genres — from the Hryhoriy Maiboroda National Bandurist Capella of Ukraine to contemporary Ukrainian performers such as Arsen Mirzoyan, Antonina Matvienko and many others. As part of our cultural work, we also hold festivals and open cultural events, including the “Spring in Hofgeismar” festival, the “Liebenau Kulturparty” festival, and the Ukrainischer Tag in Kassel project, which has already become a tradition in Kassel and a place where Ukrainian culture reaches out to other cultures. At these events, we introduce guests to Ukrainian music, traditions, traditional clothing, souvenirs, ceramics and Ukrainian cuisine.

These events help us present a living image of Ukraine — real, deep and multifaceted, rather than only the image people are used to seeing in the news. They create space for dialogue between cultures, help people get to know one another better, see what unites us, and explore with interest what makes us different. At the same time, these projects also strengthen the Ukrainian community in Germany by creating an environment for support, communication and joint action.

For us, culture is not only dialogue, but also a real instrument of help. It is through cultural events that we also raise donations for humanitarian projects. In 2025 alone, we organized around 25 cultural events.

Our goal is to act where help truly saves lives. You can become part of this effort.
